rebecca hartman (she/her) - registered psychologist

I am a Registered Psychologist, Member of the Australian Psychological Society (MAPS) and Associate Member of the APS College of Educational and Developmental Psychologists. I completed a Bachelor of Arts Honours (Psychology) at the University of Wollongong and worked for several years in academic research at the University of Sydney, and in the not-for-profit sector, before completing a Master of Psychology (Educational and Developmental) at Monash University. Since that time I have worked in educational settings administering psychometric assessments and in private practice. I am particularly interested in development throughout childhood, and working with both children and their families to develop tools for living a good life. My interest is specifically in the ‘malaises of modern life’ such as stress, overwhelm, anxious thoughts and busyness. I am passionate about slowing down, creativity, getting outside, play and creating the space for children to develop in their own unique way. I hope to help children and parents to process what is troubling them, and to develop the habits to support their wellbeing as they navigate the ups and downs of life.
